Edinburgh Marathon 2008
Edinburgh Marathon Results 2007
The overall winners of the Edinburgh Marathon in 2007 were Fiona Matheson from Falkirk,
Scotland (time: 2:54:43), and English Ian Grime (time: 2:31:57). This marathon was
the winner Ian Grime’s first, and apart from that, his victory was made spectacular
by the fact that he went through serious heart surgery 18 months prior to the race.
All the rest of the results from the marathon and team relay can be viewed
here.
Edinburgh Marathon Weather
Weather in Auld Reekie this time of year is almost impossible to predict.
For instance, a blazing sun and 27° C (80° F) heated up the 2006 event, while the
2007 race was almost washed away in heavy rains, fierce winds and even hails. The
average maximum temperature in May/June is 17°C (62° F), and winds are usually manageable.
Accurate forecasts of Edinburgh weather for the next race weekend is found
