The gold medals in the 2008 version of the Gold Coast Airport Marathon were won by a 30-year-old
Japanese man and a 37-year-old woman from New Zealand. These teo fast runners were followed by:

The two overall winners of Gold Coast Airport Marathon 2007 were Toyokazu Yoshimura
(2:20:07) and Ayumi Hayshi (2:33:19), both Japanese.
